While labs are facing growing amounts of data, solutions are opening up on the global scene to help them cope with it. The change is already here. And it might be better than we expected.

Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs) seem to be a good solution for labs who want to go paperless. Even though we love the age of hand written notes in numerous notebooks, it is already impossible to keep track of information in a non-digital form.

Europa Science Ltd in collaboration with Paperless Lab Academy (PLA) recently launched a survey on Electronic Lab Notebooks.

“The purpose of this questionnaire is to gauge your opinion on the use of Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) software in your daily lab work.  In addition to understanding the needs of ELN users, we would also like to know how features, implementation, and pricing can affect the decision to deploy ELN systems within an organization. Whether you are an ELN user today or not we would like your opinion!”

In today’s digital world, surveys such as this are considered to be one of the best channels for scientists to express their opinion about the development of new solutions for labs.

This survey opens up the possibility to attend the European lab automation congress: 2020 Roadmap for Digital Convergence – Paperless Lab Academy 2017 and stay in Barcelona for free:

“Win two nights stay in the Grand Hotel Rey Don Jaime, Castelldefels, Barcelona to attend the Paperless Lab Academy 2017 on April 4th & 5th. The access is free for attendees from the industry although registration is required. The free pass includes access to plenary sessions and sponsored workshops, cocktail reception and conference dinner.”

The Paperless Lab Academy is actually the learning platform “for all organizations involved in running, consolidating, integrating or simplifying laboratory data management processes. The event is addressing executives in laboratory, IT, QC, QA, Management, Manufacturing, Research, legal departments.”

If you are interested, take a couple of minutes, fill out the survey here and share it with your colleagues – Electronic Lab Notebooks Survey.
